ABOUT THE IMAGE: A drawing from the theatrical short Canine Caddy. Directed by Clyde Geronimi and released in 1941, Canine Caddy follows Mickey and his loyal pal Pluto on a golfing trip which is soon disrupted by a mischievous gopher. The drawing is rendered in graphite and color pencil on 12 field 5-peghole sheets of animation paper. Mickey is depicted large, numbered 57 in the lower right corner, including an official Art Props studio stamp with the production number 2262 and scene number 16.
