ABOUT THE IMAGE: "Contemporary American cuisine, elegant atmosphere and attentive service has earned Granville's at Disneyland Hotel Travel-Holiday magazine's restaurant award and Southern California Restaurant Writers' Gold Award. Its specialties include Long Island duckling, Wisconsin veal, skillet-blackened redfish, Maine lobster and California quail. Rich American furnishings in deep burgundy and navy and commissioned glass etchings depicting "Great Moments in American History" create an ambiance for unhurried dining, complemented by the stylish music of the Granville's pianist."
In 1988, The Walt Disney Company finally bought the Disneyland Hotel, which had been formerly been owned by The Wrather Corporation (Jack Wrather, Bonita Granville’s husband). Disney bought the Wrather Corporation and began a big push of advertising the hotel as a complete vacation experience. This promotional photo was one of many sent to magazines and newspapers.

Tom Everhart is a celebrated American painter whose work uniquely bridges the worlds of fine art and popular culture through his exclusive use of Charles Schulz’s Peanuts characters. Initially trained at Yale School of Art and later mentored by Schulz himself, Everhart transitioned from traditional illustration and architectural rendering to a bold, expressive painting style after a life-altering battle with cancer in the late 1980s.
