ABOUT THE IMAGE: "Sgt. Preston and the flamboyant madam Klondike Kate are part of the zany cast of Yukon characters starring in the exciting "Yukon Follies Revue" at Sgt. Preston's Yukon Saloon and Dancehall. The saloon offers a continuous live stage show featuring raucous songs, comedy, audience participation, frantic antics, fun and laughter on Tuesday through Sunday from 8:30 p.m. and dancing until the wee hours. The saloon is open daily from 11 a.m. Sgt. Preston's Yukon Saloon and Dancehall is located at Disneyland Hotel, 1150 W. Cerritos Ave. in Anaheim. Validated parking is available."

In 1988, The Walt Disney Company finally bought the Disneyland Hotel, which had been formerly been owned by The Wrather Corporation (Jack Wrather, Bonita Granville’s husband). Disney bought the Wrather Corporation and began a big push of advertising the hotel as a complete vacation experience. This promotional photo was one of many sent to magazines and newspapers.
