ABOUT THE IMAGE: This limited edition sericel, titled "Fairy Tale Moments," was created for the 40th anniversary of Sleeping Beauty (1959). The piece depicts key icons from the classic animated feature as they tell the story.
Walt Disney Studios has created these character images using the fine art screen-printing process of color reproduction known as serigraphy. Disney artists, working from original animation drawings and film reference materials, specially created a hand-inked, hand-painted animation cel which was used by American Atelier of Carson, CA in the production of these sericels.

ABOUT:
Tom Everhart is a celebrated American painter whose work uniquely bridges the worlds of fine art and popular culture through his exclusive use of Charles Schulz’s Peanuts characters. Initially trained at Yale School of Art and later mentored by Schulz himself, Everhart transitioned from traditional illustration and architectural rendering to a bold, expressive painting style after a life-altering battle with cancer in the late 1980s.
