The artist, David Russell, is denoted by the initial "R" near the lower left corner of the image. Russell has designed concepts and storyboards for over 80 feature films. His work is valued by top directors and production designers for its dynamic and powerful narrative quality.

This amazing storyboard print comes from the personal collection of producer Miki Herman. Herman worked on every film in the original Star Wars trilogy. She started as a production assistant on Episode IV, was promoted to production coordinator on Episode V, and became as the unit production manager for Episode VI. Herman was later a consultant for The Star Wars Holiday Special and the co-executive producer of the animated Droids and Ewoks series. She is also responsible for location-scouting the forest moon of Endor.
