ABOUT THE ARTWORK: These photostat storyboards were used during the production of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. Please note the black "ILM" stamps and 3-ring binder peg holes along the upper margins of each piece. The artist, George Jenson, is denoted by the initial "G" near the lower left corner of the images. Jenson had a life-long career as a production illustrator, VFX director, and story artist. He received an Oscar nomination for "Best Visual Effects" on 2010: The Year We Make Contact, the sequel to Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey.

These amazing storyboard prints come from the personal collection of producer Miki Herman. Herman worked on every film in the original Star Wars trilogy. She started as a production assistant on Episode IV, was promoted to production coordinator on Episode V, and became as the unit production manager for Episode VI. Herman was later a consultant for The Star Wars Holiday Special and the co-executive producer of the animated Droids and Ewoks series. She is also responsible for location-scouting the forest moon of Endor.
